Woodkid ― I Love You

Last week, Woodkid released the music video to "I Love You", which is a true masterpiece of art. The video tells the story "of a man who drowned in the cold waters of the ocean after losing the one he loved". The pictures of the thunderous spume, forbidding coastline and sparse landscape harmonize perfectly with the tragic lyrics about the lost love, which are underlined with beautiful melodies implemented by strings, an organ, and Lemoine's tender voice. Goosebumps.

For the ones who haven't heard of him yet, Woodkid's release of his first single and EP "Iron" in 2011 was a huge success. Formerly known as Yoann Lemoine, he already directed music videos for popular musicians such as Lana Del Rey, Mystery Jets and Katy Perry before he became a musician himself. For the music video of "Iron" he collaborated with the English model Agyness Deyn. His debut album "The Golden Age" will be released March 18, 2013, on the Green United Music label.
